Hi my name is Gabrielle Panzo,
I am currently back at Albertus to complete my bachelors in Psychology. Photography has always been a passion of mine. Although this is my first class since high school in photography, I am excited to be apart of it. The reason for the make up brush in my self portrait is due to my passion for make up. I currently work at Ulta Beauty and have grown as a make up artist ever since I started working there. I love the art and to collaborate my two passions in this class gives me numerous ideas for projects. My fellow makeup artists and I have been brainstorming since I've signed up for this class. Aside from my make up passion, photography has always been a relaxing hobby of mine. I favor in taking photographs of landscapes, candidates, and above all architecture. Why artictecture you may ask. Well ever since my first visit to New York City, way back when I was a young girl, I fell in love with the art in the buildings. The different point of views, all of the angles of photos you can capture. You can take this buildings work and make it of your own. That is what I want to achieve in this class, the different ways of art by one simple photo. I am excited to see the different views in a single shot or multiple to capture what the eye does. I also am interested in the editing aspect.
I am looking forward to what lies instore for me and my fellow classmate.
Hi Gabby,
ReplyDeleteYour passion for make up is interesting... I have a niece that has the same interest and she became a regional manager for Sephora... she travels the Northeast keeping an eye on the stores she is responsible for.
Your photograph didn't post... there is a small icon that is blue when you are in the post editor... click that and then browse to where your photo is. Next click "add selected" and it will appear in the same editing box as your text...
The first assignment for you it to photograph architecture... Think of abstract angles and shapes rather than show whole buildings... above all concentrate on light and the way light makes whatever you are photographing come alive.
Welcome to class!
