Sunsets always captured my eye..

For my final posting I was going to do a whole makeup post.  However with busy schedules, I had no one to do model for me.  So I turned to Sunsets.  During the week and well one is from the winter time, I have captured some beautiful ones, and a sunrise. Also my dog is included because who doesn't love photographing their pets right?  This class has taught me how to form my angles right to capture the right light.  I have always enjoyed edited but now I know what to look for while I am editing.

Final Week!

The pictures below are from some test shots I was doing with my new macro attachment (I'm still trying to figure out what photographs well), as well as my last edited pictures of my trip to Yellowstone. I loved getting to focus on landscapes this summer semester. I really learned a lot about setting up a picture, and kept practicing my editing skills. Thank you Professor Nevins for all of your positive feedback and help over the past couple of months! I love getting to see improvement in my photos! I can't wait to keep taking more pictures through the rest of the summer and into the fall. I have really grown as a photographer over the past year, and I am so proud of myself. I even find myself explaining to my parents what makes a good and bad picture! Looking back at my first film class, I have come really far not only with my skills, but just appreciating the art of photography. I'm so excited to see what next year holds for me and my photography! Thank you again! I love having you as a teacher! :)

week 6

Week Six

I still have some pictures left I have to edit from my trip to Montana and Wyoming. I was inspired by Gabby's macro pictures so I bought a macro attachment for my camera lens. I will be testing it out since I have never focused on macro shots!
