Morning Excitement

This morning I woke up to the sight of a Coyote laying in my backyard in Redding... He/she was there for over a half hour without moving much which I thought was very odd... We called the town animal control officer and he came right over... When he walked up to it, the coyote took off... He said that they are getting more brazen the more they live among us...  I didn't let Emma out (my Golden Retriever) while he was there...
